Our Art Work
We Just received this E-mail
Dear Artists,
Early this week, my coworkers and I installed the Native Reflections art exhibit, which includes your artwork, in the Kentucky Capitol Rotunda. It looks amazing in there!
We are excited to share this invitation with you: the governor’s office has approved a small meet-and-greet event in the Rotunda on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. Eastern time. You are invited to attend and bring one guest. (They need to keep the attendance numbers small for safety reasons.) Masks are required inside the Capitol.
Governor Andy Beshear and Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet Secretary Mike Berry also plan to attend, as well as our partner Tressa Brown, coordinator of the Ky. Native American Heritage Commission within the Ky. Heritage Council.
Please reply to this email and let me know if you will or will not plan to attend. We need to turn in the total number of attendees next Wed., Nov. 10. If you reply and accept the invitation, I’ll send you parking instructions, etc.
Thank you for considering this invitation, and let me know any questions. We hope to see you there, but we also understand if you can’t make it.
Sincerely,
Folk and Traditional Arts Director, Kentucky Arts Council
