TINA'S TIME

Family, friends, and food are the main ingredients for good times and great memories. I am from a family of great cooks. Celebrations, family dinners and get togethers always center around fabulous food.

I don't know who actually started this recipe, but we all make it. It is so easy and an instant hit. It is great for Taco Tuesday, a cook out side dish, or a great appetizer. Now that we can get together again, invite some friends over and whip this up along a pitcher of your favorite drink and a party is born!

HOT BEAN DIP

One eight oz. package of Philadelphia cream cheese

One can of re-fried beans ( I like fat free beans)

One cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Garnishing - additional shredded cheese, salsa, sour cream, and sliced Jalapeno ( Your choice of the Jalapeno)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Spread cream cheese in your favorite backing dish or pie plate. Spoon on the re-fried beans and smooth out for a 2nd layer. Sprinkle One cut of shredded cheese on top. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until heated thoroughly and the cheese is melted. Remove from over add Garnishing as desired.

Be creative with your Garnishing.

My mom always garnished everything and that can turn plain food into fabulous!

Serve with your favorite Tortilla or corn chips and enjoy!
